I guess the irony is the sheer number of comics on the web deploring cheap, hackneyed, tricks. Either that or irony really does mean never having to admit that you're wrong.

I guess the inspiration (cheapening the word 'inspiration', I will admit) for this mostly came from how much I enjoy webcomics, and how much it's bothered me lately that the ones that have been around awhile have been rehashing the same formula for jokes so many times that they get boring and predictable.

i disagree, ftw - anyone with any fucking slight brain 'got' your joke by frame 2. after that it was just you saying the same thing over and over and over. which i get is also part of the joke, but by frame about 6 of 200 or so (i lost count) it got dull. either way its much easier to sit back and crack jokes at others style than it is to come up with your own. i should know.

i disagree, ftw - anyone with any fucking slight brain 'got' your joke by frame 2. after that it was just you saying the same thing over and over and over. which i get is also part of the joke, but by frame about 6 of 200 or so (i lost count) it got dull. either way its much easier to sit back and crack jokes at others style than it is to come up with your own. i should know.
(It is easier to crack jokes at others than do my own stuff, but if you look at my previous posts most of them (good or bad) are my own stuff, so it's not like I'm the writers for South Park or anything (HAHA, CRACKIN' AWAY))

(Dude, I tried it with less effort and the lines weren't just out of the frames, they were out of the jpg file itself, and they were getting all over my desk top and bluescreening and shit, so I had to put forth a TINY bit of effort.)
