Gay Marriage - Totally for it. If a man and a woman can love each other and get married, than a man and man or a woman and a woman that show the same love to their partner should have the same rights as straight people. People can't help how they feel in regards to their sexuality. Just because someone was born gay doesn't mean they shouldn't be able to marry the same sex. That's along the same way of thinking as the old thinking of black people being slaves. Just because they were born black means they were slaves right? And just because people were born gay they shouldn't be able to get married? What a backwards way of thinking. Gay people getting married isn't hurting anyone at all, and if it's not concerning you in any matter then butt the fuck out.
Abortion - I'm adamantly pro-choice. I would never have an abortion myself, but if other people want to, then it's fine by me. I think we should be more concerned with the rights of the people that are already born than those of the unborn. It all goes back to "the woman's body, the woman's choice." That's right, it IS her choice. The government, or anyone for that matter, should have control over what we do with our bodies. This isn't Soviet Russia, for Christ's sake. If a woman doesn't want something growing in her body, she should damn well have the choice to remove it. If a woman doesn't want to have a child right now, she should have that choice. It's a sad state of affairs when slutty bitches go out, fuck a guy, get pregnant and abort the unborn baby without second thought. But you also have to think of the rape victims/incest victims and situations like that. If a woman doesn't want to give birth, she shouldn't have to. End of story.

When i was 16 i got my girlfriend pregnant, we both knew if our parents knew she was going to have a baby we would have been in deep shit. So she got an abortion.

+1 because I don't think gay people are born gay, I don't really see how it could not be their choice to be attracted to the same sex. I mean, I'm pretty sure that they're bi-sexual, at least most gays, if they arent, its out of preference not to date the opposite sex. If they choose to take out an option (the opposite gender) then it is by choice, so yeah.. Gay marraige for rights and such, thats correct, but as far as morals and religions go, its not right.. At least I'm pretty sure. Its really a toss-up.
Abortions should be pro-choice but I believe that women shouldn't have 100% of the say in the matter. What if the father of the child wants to keep the baby and the mother doesnt? Thats a very big controversy right there. I mean, I know if I knock up my girlfriend I would like to keep the child, but I'm also not looking to have a child when I'm so young (I need time, and money to make everything work, duh) so thats another issue that can't really be resolved without alot of care and time put into it...
God damn controversy. Damn it all to hell! +1 for a decent post with reasoning, because we don't see it often here on uber.

Totally agree. Besides you're probably doing the unborn baby a favour by preventing him/her from ever existing. Sure life has happy moments, but what comes up must come down and you'll just end up being sad.
