I manage a pretty low-key and inexperienced writing agency in northern California. We had an entry-level position open up due to a leave of absence, so we did the whole resume/interview process and found someone we liked. She wasn't all that qualified—actually, she typed with one finger, but she had a certain quality that just seemed a perfect fit into our ambitious team.
Honestly, the unanimous decision to hire this woman definitely won't help our bottom line, considering the position in question would involve lots of typing. Due to the fact that she typed about 10 wpm, some might call this a bad decision. I think we fucked up...
