Opinions? I don't know what to say. I'd like to hope the album blows away most the bullshit you hear on the radio nowadays, but ... who knows. Velvet Revolver kicks ass at least.

I dunno about the tunes; the first one sounds a bit too RHCP for my liking, second didn't play.
Sometimes it's just best to give up when you're left with the shadow of a band. Unfortunately, Axl's way too far up his own arse to give up.
We're never gonna get another Appetite for Destruction.

The sad part is, that last part is true... Now, I wasn't a huge GnR fan, but I thouroughly enjoyed Appetite, but, sadly, they couldn't quite meet or beat it later on.

I dislike Axl Rose, and GnR died about a month after they released the Use your Illusion albums. They could have been the Rolling Stones of my generation, instead they will just be a little more than a footnote in music history.
I don't dislike Velvet Revolver, and I hold Slash in the highest esteem (IMO one of the best living rock guitar players). I just cant get into their music.

1) I will believe a new GnR album is close the day it's released. Chinese Democracy is like the next Duke Nukem. Always JUST around the corner, but never really there.
2) That .gif takes a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time for nothing.

"Axel Rose" is really Bill Bailey from Lafayette, Indiana. I think that's kinda funny. The character he plays in the "Welcone to the Jungle" video is more autobiographical that he'd admit, I bet.

I don't understand how this is called GnR. It has 1 of the same guys, and 0 of the same energy.
And Velvet Revolver is the eqivilent of staring in Nike commercials; a bunch of guys who need to make money through as little effort as possible. Nothing these guys have done hasn't been SHIT.

Caulaincourt, that is way old news. I heard about that at least 2 days before someone finally mentioned it here ... and even that was a week ago.
No harm though, I'll pay for an order of Rose of Muhammads with some Freedom Toast if you ever show up around Chi-town. I know your hatred over Freedom fries eliminates that product.
Potatoes are fucking awesome and fries are probably one of the worst products made from them. But, they are still good in my book.
